Nick, your efforts are an incredible enrichment for the community. Thanks man, you rock

Thank you!
I hope your site goes well for the business side too.

Gracias, gracias, gracias…

Nick you rule, thanks for all you do!!!
nice site btw!

Hello Artist,

I wanted to tell you about some human models that I have been working on for a few months now. I have created a base mesh that I am using to generate new body types/targets from. Because these meshes all share the same vertex ID’s they are able to easily blend from one target to another. I started off with the Human Male Average Model and then used this mesh and details to create my other body blend targets.

I currently have 5 body blends for the Digital Body Builder Master file that I am creating.

There is the Human Male Thin Character

There is the Human Male Average Character

There is the Human Male Muscular Character

There is the Human Male Stocky Character

And There is the Human Male Obese Character

As you can see, each model come with predefined polygroups, and 3 blend shapes. (AmsToSide, AmsUp and Mouth Open)

Each one of the models can blend with another, so it is very easy to mix and match body types together to generate unique body types.

I created a video for each body type to go over the different features of the model, but I think the video below will give you the best overview of what these models have to offer and shows and example of me stealing the head shape from one model and applying it to another model.

<iframe src=“http://player.vimeo.com/video/28103070?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0” width=“558” height=“314” frameborder=“0” webkitallowfullscreen="" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>

I really hope this helps someone in their artistic creations!

Peace - NickZ.

Hi Nickz, thanks for sharing the images of the body types as it in interesting to see the collection but most of all I want to thank you for the shader as my immediate though was ‘now that is a nice shader set up’ and there you are giving it away just underneath the images. :+1:

Arran

Arran,

No problem! Glad the shader could help you out. If you have Photoshop try using the PSD file that I provided to change your ZBrush shader/material color and rendering style.

Peace-NickZ.

Thanks so much for sharing. Great work by the way.

In response to the latest release of ZBrush 4R2 I am making available my first mini project since I downloaded the latest rev.

I really love the new Dynamesh. This really is a game changer. What an awesome tool that we now have as digital sculptors to create things out of thin air purely from our imaginations. I have really been waiting for the day that digital sculpting had many of the easy shape creation and manipulation qualities that we have in the real world. Dynamesh is one step closer to that reality.

For this creature I created I started off with a sphere and used the snake hook brush to pull out some arm like shapes, then I quickly changed the mesh over to Dynamesh and used a combination of claytubes brush, damn_standard brush and two custom insertBrushes that I created.

I also wanted to learn a little bit about the new waxshader and how to blend materials together using either the double or triple materials.

I added this model and these shaders to my free start up project to produce the BPR renders.

If you don’t have the latest version of ZBrush and you want to check out the models, I have included the body and the eyes as OBJ files so you can load the models into any 3D application.

I also included the two custom (sucker and a tooth) insertBrushes that I created for the project as well.

This is just my small way of saying thanks to the Pixologic crew for all their hard work, dedication and love for us digital artist! You guys rock!!!

wow nice nick, thanks a lot!

No problem! Glad these models can help some people out! I really appreciate the kind words everyone!O/MI-I really dig your latest sculpt!Peace-NickZ.

Great stuff you share with the community!!! keep up the exelent work.

Mute696-Thanks so much, I would love to see what you could create with my be base mesh.Peace!!

I just finished up a new dynamesh sketch (Don’t Let It Go To Your Head) and thought I would share with everyone.

Dynamesh is so much fun, I started off with making a quick nose out of a flat plane, then I closed off the back of the plane and turned it into a dynamesh, then I started to sculpt some lips on the mesh, I then thought, well might as well put some eyes on there, then I took a sphere and combined it with the mesh I had, pulled out some shapes for some ears and started to have a pretty cool looking head. Just for fun I thought it would be cool to make this a giant “ego” piece. I then added the free human mesh of mine, then I merged the two models and then re-dynameshed the two models to combine them. Then i quickly posed the figure and started to re-sculpt areas.

Dynamesh really is an amazing tool that Pixologic as added to the digital sculptors tool set.

If you would like to download the project for free (along with a custom shader that I have been using.) CLICK HERE TO VISIT DOWNLOAD PAGE.

I have saved off the project as a ZProject (Just use the file>Load function) to make it easy to load and render the project.

ZBrush artist,

Hello there. I wanted to let everyone know about a model my very talented friend and artist, Russell Barton made for me.

Russell has taken my latest human male topology and created an average female model with the topology. (So now we have a male model that can be morphed/blended into a female model.)

This ZBrush 4R2 File contains two layer sets that will allow the user to control the breast size. The default state is an average size and can be blended to a larger or smaller state via the layers that have been created for the file.

If you would like to take a look at the product page on Digital3DModels.com please [FOLLOW THIS LINK.

P](http://www.digital3dmodels.com/products-page/female/human-female-zbrush/)eace,

NickZ.

Why only Americans have to censore tits. You show tits even on childrens channel but not in Art. this is ridiculous.
We live in the 21st century pal. If we talk about art we mostly don’t censore beautiful shapes, because art should show something which is’t supposed to be porn, or was your objective to show some porn to us? People who are afright of tits shouldnt get into art at all.
And furthermore I don’t understand why the guy who made that model didn’t post it here. Then I would congrat him to the fency model.

But that post + link to your product page + censure is exactly one sort of advertisment I really don’t like. As well as all these hidden links to your product page and that extra secret: “omg its only for mature people”-crap.
How stupid. Why covering the most important parts on a female sculpture when your intention is to sell that thing. You only do that to decrease interest. this isn’t a selling platform this is an art sharing platform. I think advertisments in such an aggressive form don’t belong to this place.
What a stupid post…

the legs are great btw.

Max,

Chill buddy!! It was more of a joke than anything!!! I’m with you, everything is censored now on the forums, even the tasteful stuff, but perhaps that is the point, art is subjective so if you censor one piece you might as well censor them all. Currently If you put a Mature rating on something then ALL of you post gets collapsed into a red one line text bar that you have to click on to see any part of the post. (I’m not a big fan of this. My last post I put the MA rating on the post and it really didn’t need it…now you can’t even see the work unless you click the red link above.)

Not as many people will look at the work this way. (This is why I went to the censor route, if figure if people were really interested they could take a small and un-painful trip to my site to see the images in full.)

If you follow the links you can see the images on my site and there isn’t any sort of censorship what so ever.

As for posting for my friend, I did this AT HIS request, he hasn’t had the time lately because he has been so busy at work that he hasn’t had much time for personal work. (He spent all his time finishing the model up.) Russell and I worked as a team to bring this model out so people could purchase his model if they wish. Don’t worry, he will see your comments and I am sure he will appreciate them all!

By the way, I’m pretty sure if you are on an art forum and you are referring to female anatomy and want to come off classy, you might want to refer to these beautiful shapes as breast. At least in America, other wise you will degrade the shapes to nothing more than objects of sexual gratification, this is not the intent of the art we are creating.

Hope this clears things up for you!

Peace-NickZ.

Nice models, i just buy “Dont let it go to your head”, by $0.00! thanks for share, i´m going to use it to learn about cartoon sculpt.
