Big Sepultura Fan here, I didnt know that every post stuck an image on the Row, I’ll edit the tags so they drop off.
Finally getting around to bringing this skull I made for a Spave Marine cut scene pitch test I worked on at Rainmaker up past rush job quality ( I donated my own home built assets, worked unpaid ,after hours and off the books, thats why I own the asset)

I’m getting pretty happy with the drapery, the shoulder armor is super rough and his rope will have a tilling texture on in Maya, the skulls need more dirt and the cowl front needs more surfacing, but i think hes getting pretty close to being ready to go for shading and lighting
I’d lose the tounge. It looks out of place. Maybe open the mouth more. More of an angry screaming face. If its going to be rendered in maya with maya shaders then its hard to tell. Maybe work more on the textures(color). There stretching in parts.
Yeah I’m not happy with the Tongue either, I’ll do a redesign on it smaller more goat like keep it in the mouth. I have to go back and fix some texture stretching as I’ve been concentrating on the GEO. He already got a rig and some animation in Maya that was used for a test for a music Video for the Band 3 inches of Blood, I’ll upload the the test I did to vimeo and put a link with my next post.

Finally got some time to put in on the Cowl and shoulder armour, we had a snow storm and I was able to go out and shoots some snow elements that I’ll be turning into an environment for this dude, this is just a quick paint test using a BG I found n the net.

Red Arm studio has just optioned the comic Champions of Hell and we will developing imagery and asset to transform this cult classic into a VFX epic. Our new graphic novel will drop in Summer Fall of 2011.
