I got some time to work on this guy again…Halloween is coming! I’m still planning on reworking the cloth a bit, but I’m going to start adding some color.

Let me know what you think.

I’m starting to add some color. I did a test render with what I have so far. I’m still shooting to have this thing finished by Halloween…it’s going to be close.

Hey hey looking good, like where its going

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I’ll try to do more work on this tonight.

I didn’t have enough time to work on anything tonight, but I wanted to to show a close up of what I have so far.

OK, I think I’m to the photoshop stage. I found some photos that I comped together for the background. I’m planning on painting in a lot of details…blood, hair, shadows, lighting, color tweaks and so on…

Feedback welcome.

wow! good job!

It’s been fantastic to watch this progress! I think the pose works beautifully now, very striking composition, and I love the way the fabric has turned out.

Thanks for the nice feedback! I’m hoping to finish the photoshop work tonight. I’ll post a larger version when I complete it.

Very cool! My only suggestion would be to photoshop some hair on his legs and arms to break up the smooth silhouette. I’ve done a few character with fur and found just painting a few hairs makes it look less like a bumped or normal mapped character.

Yeah, that’s the plan. Thanks for the feedback.
