Great work on everyone’s behalf, it would be cool to see these guys in zbrush before rendering.
Hey all I know you’ve all been waiting on some wips and stuff of Predator in ZBrush. So i’ve got these to show you. A colour texture and fine details were only done for Predators skin (head and body) as the rest was just surfaced in modo. The left foot and right hand were both mirrored in Modo because of time constraints, this is why only one of each are textured. This was my first time using ZBrush, I learnt so much and found that ZBrush is a definite for almost any pipeline. There is still lots I have yet to try out in ZBrush such as surfacing, rendering and using the transpose tool (which i should of tried for the posing in these Ads). The first pic shown is of the progression of the head in ZBrush, the second one is of the body, and the third is a larger view of the whole model.

do you plan on scaling down the head?
Ha yea good eye. we scaled it down in Modo before I posed it. I think we put it at around 70 or 80% of what it is you see here.
captkiro - Yea we scaled the head down when we took it into Modo, just before we posed it. The final head is about 70 to 80% of the size it is here in these ZBrush pics

mikala - Alien was done in Modo with the displacement maps hand painted in Photoshop. My work mate did it so I dont have any pics on my but you can see some wires in our showcase here at Cluster just click the link. If some more requests come in for Alien maybe i’ll get Andre to post some up. But since they have nothing to do with ZBrsuh you might just wanna take a look at our site.
