akuma

have you tried clicking the fix seams option in the tools>texture menu?

steve, thanks for the foot tool. great help.
aminuts, thanks for the tip, i didn’t even know there was such a thing. ehhehe…
i’ve actually started remodelling the whole body from the original zspheres last night. i’ll post pics as soon as i get to a reasonable stage.

peace,
dado

yay! i went back to sculpting the mesh while keeping the zspheres. i’m very happy with the way the new model is progressing. except the head… does anyone know how i can import the old head into the new model’s zspheres? or would it just be a whole lot easier to just sculpt a new one? i know that i can use the mutlimarker tool, but i’m not a very big fan of it, as i usually tend to screw it up beyond repair. anyway. i’m going back to sculpting akuma.

hey i feel like im getting the hang of Zbrush

Hey, Akuma fan huh? Here’s a link to one of my older threads, I used Akuma there as reference character, hope you’ll find those pics useful and good luck on the hair part (It’s not easy to make such a hairdo look realistic, I know I tried :stuck_out_tongue: )

You can add a tool to a zsphere. There is a cool script included in zbrush to show you how…there is a tip on how to get the res of the zspheres to match more closely the added tool.

some more progress on the head and the lower body. and some quick color added to the final image.

take one of the poses and this zscript and have at some energy in a painting done in Zbrush

More than a fighter a wonderful dancer :+1:
Pilou

thanks steve…
yeah, i know pilou, i couldn’t get the fighting stances on the money, so he came out a bit dancy.

i’m thinking of submitting this to the street fighter fan-art contest that they have every month in their comics. does the photoshop lensflare look too cheezy? should i leave it out or just keep it in there?

dado

Hey dude nice model. I say u should definately get rid of the lensflare, doesnt look good at all. Maybe you should try to do something to light the scene.
U could make the energyball in his hand light the scene. Tone down the background and make some lightning arc around the hadouken.

thanks for the suggestion juice. yeah, i though that the lens flare looked horrible, but i just wanted to see it there.

dado

More lens flare dado

more more more energy go over the top… nice pose and i like the perspective eye …strong image but you could make that energy flare bigger and more electric like ya know… …i gotta have more cowbell baby!

The GIMP lenflare looks a bit better IMHO…

But in this case I make an exception… this is a Cheeze-free lense flayre in my book…

I give this:

Always like to see people complete their models

cool charictor too

i’m working on changing the ambiguosuly cheezy flare. expect an update later tonite. thanks for looking at it folks…

dado
