you sound like u were on Afro…ye, we pretty much use the workflow that u mentioned,…make a concept, build a Zbrush sculpt, retopo, UV, generate the nmap, generate ambient occ, and then color, and check the results using cgfx shader in Maya…
Great works, looks like a project that was truly rewarding to work on. 
I wish I was helping you guys out on it, although I would have to be damn good to help out, I need to do more sculpting though. But I understand what would have been required and its monumental! excellent effort you guys.

Funny, last week i made up this little story about a japanese african alliance and a few days later i stumble upon this incredible artwork. Never knew there was ever made a game with the same subject. Cool, was this game made in america or japan ?

Holly samurai lesbian foursome Batman, “and Here is an example of some characters that didn’t use those components”, hilarious. Great work on all the characters. Know I don’t know much about rendering techniques but, did you use a special shader to get the stylized look of the game or did you use something in your engine and if so what engine did you use for the game?
