a gallery of ladies - some naked :)

glad you liked her, ZBs! thank you so much for your wonderful comments!

i was thinking about adding a few jungle-items in front of her to add more depth, but instead of doing so i got a bit distracted and used two days off to do the following batch:

Dave’s :+1: :+1: :+1: femaletorso.ztl was used for the top-left one… the vista (complete with Ed-the-Atoms-seagulls, once more - you can get them at Digits Z-Place) was already posted into the alphacentury-thread and hmmm - does not really fit, as she has to be in a helicopter or zeppelin or the like to get that vista  also displayed are my first tries at chinese "kalli"graphy - i know its awful. the characters should read (top to bottom): chun - springtime, feng - wind, jing - scenery… feng+jing meaning landscape according to the book i used, so its a spring-vista. the only other 3d-thingie is the landscape behind the "feng"ed lady. the temple in the lower right one was created from a 3d-cone, but it was drawn and frequently snapshot without any depth.

hope you’ll like one of them, too

Hey Hansl, I love ALL of them!!!
The ‘oriental’ piece has this vista through the window, that my eye sees worlds in, the upper right one reminds me of a late 40’s-early 50’s Colliers magazine cover…The colours are so primal and clean.
The lower left one has a perfect oil-painting feel, and a simple and honest approach to the figure, and then the exotic golden Bali scene…

Well…What’s not to like here?
Keep these lovely portraits coming Hansl…Even the diverse styles are a treat for me!
:+1: :+1: :+1: :sunglasses:  :sunglasses: :+1: :+1: :+1:

well juandel,i think you are gettin better and better…
Some of your later work seems to become more organic, as if its painted manualy.
I love them all but the bottom left blue dressed girl (down left) is my favorite.
verry, verry nice
greetings
Bobono

this is my first try at using the fantabulous CanvasMaker © Maestro Digits ( :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: x (insert highest number you know of)) which was released yesterday. this, Floyd, is a tremendously precious tool! i hope to be able to add a few more ladies painted using it soonissimo but as its the first real hot day this year over here i prefer to absorb some rays now, so it might take some time

Juandel - A Gallery of ladies - some naked

juandel, we have some very talented players on the Z forum but you are a true master artist. The “real deal” I see you have moved away from die Brücke style.

Great image my friend :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

stargo

thanks buddies!!! thelonious, the style of about 75% of my paintings is purely accidental and unpredictable for myself… most of the times inspiration strikes when something got terribly wrong and i give the flip layers thing a try instead of sudden deleting. then its just a matter of trying to camouflage the most obvious flaws

like in the below one: i just had finished smudging a photo i have made of an icebear in the local zoo last year and then started fiddling with the :+1: :+1: :+1: materials Picsas shared in this wonderful tut, failed misarabely (lighting) and though: suddenly then things started to come together:

Nadine Kempovsky, leader of the Lhofootse Expedition 2002, shows evidence that the Yeti is just another male chauvinist well: pig. collections of glossy magazines with centerfolds in it like eg. “Polarbea(ve)rs” were found all over a place that the expedition had wrongly identified as the Yeti’s deserted wintercamp. though feeling the importance of their discovery Nadine could not know that this shot would become a world famous photo in no time at all.

Juandel, Thanks for the sexy look at a bear naked Yeti. This image and the story are ultra-robo comical  That Bigfoot looks like he is frozen inside of a big sheet of ice.
As for your technique, I agree with Thelonius. Even if you let your zbrushing ramble around and you make what you think are mistakes, you create very interesting and expressive images, like your “hearing voices” image up there for example. I love it. Ramble on

Wow!Juandel these are some very tasty images
The first one on this page is my favorite, although they all are special.

thank you, amigos  here is one for the sailors among you:

err, something wrong with the head, right? let me get technical to distract from the flaws, allright?

the sea was done by creating an alpha by way of filling the screen with a 3dterrain that had horizontal waves only, applying the fiberbrush with a lil thickness all over it, mrgbz-grabbing the whole thing and doing the alphacentury z-offset from a plane move. gelshader with the following lightplacement and environmentrender-games. on another layer i painted the sky using mostly the simplebrush, dragrectangle stroke and backcolour activated, flatcolour, no z-add mostly. after some colourtweaking in the render-adjustments i exported this vista:

i thought it to be a bit boring so i imported it as a texture in a new document and loaded the fantabulous CanvasMaker © Digits. this creates a textured plane at clippingplanelevel and allows painting with 2 and 2.5d brushes on other layers without layer z-displacements. the rail was done with the spherebrush and linerstroke, the ring with ringtool, plastic material, fill white, mask all, col, fill red, clear mask; the rope with lil sphere3ds and freehandstroke. on yet another layer i created the lady using sphere3ds, basic material and freehandstroke (still visible in the hair) - whole body except the buttocks which were done with dragrectangle stroke. that freehandspherebody looked pretty surreal (but sillyme did not save a version of that). after erasing a few black borders i again did some fiddling with light. i decided to place a darkbrown sun only - to make it affect the sea as well i had to apply a lightreceiving material (other than flatcolor) covering the sea-layer and did so by using simplebrush with m highlighted only in the drawwindow. this was bestrendered, exported and reimported as a texture to yet another new document, flatmaterial, fill canvas and then i smudged the lady’s multisphere body into something not so surreal. too late to change anything with the heads dimensions.

i hope you’ll like it anyway

This is the most fantastic thread on the Forum, J! The variety of visions you display is staggering, and a tribute to a unique and wonderful imagination, and all the varieties of beauty…Not just conventional media beauty!
Why the hell don’t we have a honkin’ huge :+1: here to use? These little ones don’t work for contributions like yours…
(And as one of the sailors, let me say that is a unique deckhand you pictured! )

I agree with Stonecutter, this is a cornicopia of beauty. Every new one is a gem and every old one an old friend

Remember that you can see them all
here as well
