Also if you are on the internet and are using current versions of ZBrush DO NOT deactivate, you do not need to and you could cause yourself problems.

to use it mbe its still activated…
also do one really need to give a code to pixo …manually … when deactivates?
i dont remember that one needs to do that and its not many days ago i deactivated and reactivated
because installed a new vid card (gtx970) and wanted not risk the active license in a your licence not valid on this computer hasle. (wanted the new vid card because this new ver comin 
)
iff the license disaperared you note that when you try activate the new and get the licence limit reached note
– iff–that happens write a support ticket im pretty sure they straithen it out
Moderator’s Note: There should be no need to deactivate 4R3 or above before installing 4R7. If you did deactivate your 4R6 you could reactivate it again. Except that the servers are currently down. Our IT manager is working on that.

ZBrush doesn’t care about your video card, it doesnt use it in the way a lot of 3D programs do.
I have two video cards (intel, and Nvidia) and ZBrush uses the low-end one just as well if not better than the high end one.
The reason I say better is that it uses far less electricity, causes less heat and it just as stable if not more so.
Changing video cards is not a problem for your licence.
Changing your hard drive or CPU could be and that is when you would do the deactivation stuff.
You could put the world’s greatest and fastest video card in your computer and ZBrush would be exactly the same, put in a super fast CPU, RAM and SSD drive and you would see a change.

Moderator’s Note: Try right-clicking the desktop shortcut for ZBrush 4R7 and choose “Run as Administrator”. This launched ZBrush with elevated permissions that usually resolves the issue. You MUST get a pop-up from Windows asking if it is ok. If you don’t, change your User Account Control settings back to the default, restart your computer and try again. Once you have Run as Administrator you will need to go through Web Activation again to generate a replacement activation code. Once an activation code fails, it will ALWAYS fail.

Are nanomesh instances exportable to other apps besides keylight? C4D in this case.
It would be a huge shame if I’ve got 1000’s of instances that make for a beautiful design in ZBrush. but then there’s no simply way with which to get them into a different app.
whit some older ver happened to me lost 1 instance off lic whit just
by adding 1 more harddrive in my comp. after that i not take the risk off
having licence active when i change components (did not know vid card not matter in the licence bit)
yes i know zbrush not use so much vid card as some other progrms
but the new card has 4 g mem instead the olds 1 and i probably get
the keyshot too and more vid mem mbe runs smoother than less ?
You bought the ZBrush to Keyshot Bridge, which is what you use when you already own Keyshot. You wanted to pay $249 for the ZBrush to Keyshot Bridge and the Keyshot - ZBrush Special Edition or whatever it’s called.
But I got links to Keyshot downloads – the ZB special edition.

Probably just a template email. They may require that you upgrade to the latest version of your edition of Keyshot to use the bridge.
8 hours later and still cannot obtain activation. And now the phone in option simply says to make out a support ticket…which if I recall correctly from many times in the past takes DAYS to get a response!
I also bought the $200 Keyshot package…and that is successfully installed and activated but I am wondering if it is the same thing that was advertised at the discount price of $249. This is totally confusing and very very frustrating. And, yes I have been reading the What’s New Documentation and even watched the Ryan Kingslein tuts.
I hope Pixo changes the activation procedure when v.5 comes out. I do appreciate the upgrades being free all this time but it will be very frustrating to pay and then go through this procedure over 200 times and still not be able to use the program.
Again it would be nice to allow a 3 or 4 day grace period to use the software if the activation gets backed up…after all we had to enter a serial number to get the initial download…so maybe that particular download could have the free demo time while we wait for the servers to catch up.

Mercury, Im not sure but I think that KeyShot DOES use your videocard and if so having a good one is… good!
It won’t affect licensing though.
Changing hard drives will affect your licence, unless you’re just adding a new one and not changing the drive ZBrush is on.
For example if I got a new HD and decided that I want ZBrush on that I would have to go through the whole process, but if I just add the thing and don’t install ZBrush on it, nothing changes except I have more space.
What I will do in the future, if I decide not to get a new computer is get an SSD drive and THAT would cause me to have to re-register because I would put ZBrush and its disk cache on that instead of the HD its on now. Actualy that is something I should do, the drive I have is slow in my opinion.
managet now to get the dounload link to work so have now the installer now install cros fingers and try to activate

guys, I´ve downloaded the installer, but it installs as an x32 version automatically. Needless to say I´m on a 64bit.
EDIT: My bad, I see a x64 version in the installation folder 
Now we gotta wait for the deactivation / reactivation website to be up
So close to reaching it!
