ZBrush 4R7: Released!

I wants download only without License email and serial number online. Where can I click Download only app ZBrush 4r7

Very thankful that paid work came my way. The commissions have helped me to be able to afford Zbrush 4R7. It’s just installed and I’m checking out the 64 bit version  Definitely I’m looking forward to this new version.

What are you looking for? A trial version? As far as I know, there isn’t one. You could always download Sculptris though. It’s free: http://pixologic.com/zbrush/downloadcenter/

Questions: Although I’m using a 64 bit Windows 7 OS, I’ve only got 4 gb RAM. Would it make any difference if I used the 64-bit version or just stuck with the 32-bit one?

Also, am I still able to use ZB 4R6 even with 4R7 installed?

BTW, really excited about trying out ZModeler! Already downloaded the installer, and can’t wait to install 4r7 and give it a little test run!

I’m having some trouble, I’m trying to open file as Zpr. and it is not working after I updated to 4r7… now i import as Ztl. and i can’t save it’s not saving I have Mac pro…I hope someone can help.

bicc39Yeeees!!!
So for two days, I’ve been soaking my finger in a concoction I found the recipe for.

I use to drink that stuff!!!

Ha ha…I TRIED that, but nothing happened.

Seriously, it’s just a lot of soap, some purified water, and a hefty shot of anti-bacterial. It worked.

I didn’t sip on it though. Got PTSD from having my mouth washed out with soap when I was a kid. No more.

*They’ll have to start putting warning labels on Zbrush, for hardheads that don’t know moderation.

Skyways128, I don’t know, but I’ve used nothing but 64 bit since it came out, and am beyond happy. Not sure about the RAM/performance improvement though, if you have 4 gigs.

Someone else will know.

Fabsrn, I know nothing about Macs. Spyndel posted a Troubleshooting Thread link…will see if I can find it.

The Hylden, congrats on your pro work! :+1:

Coulda swore I had that bookmarked.

I’m not really sure that i’ll use it a lot, cause i lack free time, but I figured after so many years, I owed pixologic some money for all the free upgrades ;p

That’s a nice thought.

I see a lot of people doing that at ZBSee. Giving back.

Paying it forward.

*If I mis-spelled names in my string of posts, I’m sorry – ‘tis the bloomin’ middle of the night here.

Have you noticed any conflicts with having both?

I have Pro moved to my laptop, and Keyshot for ZBrush is on my PC. I’d love to have both versions on both machines, but it isn’t allowed so I had to choose. I may buy the Bridge for my laptop, or not as all my ZBrush stuff I do on the PC because it’s a highish spec and is attached to a 28" monitor.

Hi,

Will Keyshot for Zbrush 4r7 work when later upgrading to Zbrush 5 or will I need to buy a new Keyshot then? Also, will the same Keyshot for ZBrush license run on two machines (a workstation and a laptop, MAC OS X)?

Thanks!

@dillster,
Can you also switch bridge between pc and laptop like zbrush?

No need. You can install keyshot bridge on 2 machines just as you can with zbrush. just copy your bridge license over to your laptop and activate it

Customer service has been excellent! I had an array of issues while attempting to purchase Keyshot, problems with downloading and installing the program and every level (Mac user). Happily these issues are now resolved.

I recall the frustration of waiting to come up in the queue to receiving my upgrade email for earlier upgrades of Zbrush. I’m not sure that was a better experience as it’s waiting either way, but always worth the wait.

Thank you thought it was just me.
Lots of fun, going from one to another having to reinstall, uninstall license file.
When Zbrush install their version it goes into the same folder as the pro.
I took the folders from the pro and moved them to an external drive months ago.
This was a good three hour problem

Work on two computers simultaneously ( switch box; one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse, three monitors
only 1 tablet unfortunately)
So can put Zbrush KeyShot on one, regular on the other.

But if you only had one computer, you would have to decide which one to use or constantly reinstall, uninstall
license.

Thank you

I’m glad you’re up and running, Nancyan!

To those like me, who bought only half the KS Bundle, if you haven’t heard anything yet – I got a note late last night, right after I logged off the ZBSee forum, thru email. Basically, Pixo Support knows we’re out here waiting, and they’re gonna get to us as quickly as possible.

Spyndel and bicc39…don’t know if you guys’ comments had anything to do with that note or not, but thank you again. Members like you are the real spirit of ZBSee. :+1:

Thanks Leo for that good news!

@ Tungerz;

Thanks, Jan19

Trying to get the hang of Zremesher; not having the same luck yet as in the video for it.

One thing I noticed for Pixologic: the polypaint density message is reversed. It says, “If the slider is set to 4 then Zbrush will paint pure blue and these areas will have four times as many polygons as the unpainted portions of your mesh. If the slider is set to .25 then Zbrush will paint pure red and these areas of the mesh would have a density that is only (missing word) that of the unpainted portions.” It’s actually 4 = red, .25 = blue. So, just the names of the colors are the opposite and there’s a missing word.

I was able to finally rescue the normal map and displacement map from my first model that I went too far in the polygon count before upping to HD Geometry. That is great  It’s much better than what I had to get from a decimated version. It might be my imagination, but the quality of the normal and displacement maps seem better in this version. They really look great.

You’re welcome, The Hylden.

That’s good news about the normal maps! I like normal maps, although I don’t use displacement much.

I’m wondering how to increase the number of polypaint group colors, so my polygroups will quit merging.
I want a bunch of polygroups for fibermesh.

I’ll dig into all that later though, when I get everything set up like I want it.

As for ZRemesher…just glad the spirals are said to be…well, less.

Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere, but I couldn’t find any relevant info:

With both ZB 4R6 and 4R7 installed, if I want to move my ZBrush license to to a new computer, can I deactivate just 4R7 and reactivate in the new computer, leaving 4R6 active in my older computer?

Or do I have to deactivate both?

This is just in case anything happens to either computer.
