My vision of the Incredible Hulk!

Hi all!

Here is an update, Sorry for the delay.

I have done 4 poses, tell me wich one you like the more  And what type of lightning or shader you like the most(nothing is finished). Those without hair are done with Vray and the other in mentalray. Wish color you love the most to? lol

I have modified a little bit the transition of hand and forearm, I make bigger the bone of the wrist, so we feel more it.

For the pants, it’s just a test, I’m not sure, because jeans doesn’t react like this when streched… I think.

The rig is quickly one, just enought to get the pose I want without to much retweaking.

The pose I will choose for the final, I will repass it in z-Brush to get the correct muscular contraction for the pose, so now it’s the basic displacement for the normal pose, it will be a lot better with the map tweaked to reflect the pose, muscles striations and veines will pop up

So here’s the pics! Hope you love them!

thats very cool man
am wondering why u didnt give his pants thikness?

Wow , nice model , i like your green monster, man , waiting your update;)

verrry nice. One of the best Hulk models here at ZBC.

phenomenal post. Is this from the movie? I hadn’t seen it yet.

Can you please show wires of your workflow or edge looping? Thanks. Keep up the awesome work.

Great sculpt, really nice anatomy. These comments may be unwarranted because you may have just thrown in a quick skeleton to try some poses, but I just noticed a couple of things to throw your way. For the poses of him roaring it might help to add some tension in his neck tendons and hollowing of his cheeks because It looks as if he seems to be just opening his mouth the way he is in the pics. Also if you added some depth or deeper cuts between muscles when tensed as well as more of sign of muscle fibers it might help make him look a little more fleshy and a little less rubbery. The last thing I noticed was the teeth look great but if you added a little grime or discoloration around the gum line and maybe tweak the teeth to throw off the straightness and to add some dents or some miss-shaping to throw off the perfect smoothness it might help with them looking a little more human and not so denture-ish. Otherwise awesome model. Looking forward to future postings. Oh and included a pic of Arnold to help try and show what I mean about the muscles.

Thank’s all I appreciate

AVTPro: No it’s not from the movie, it’s form me, just for fun  You can see the low poly upper body in the frist post

justsomeguy: Thank. I know all about the muscle contraction fiber and all, it’s just a sketch of the pose not a final. When I will have choose one, I will perfect the pose in z-bursh with the good muscles contraction to fit with the pose. And for the teeths, I modified a little bit the modeling but I put the textures and shader, as you can see, it make a huge difference. I think it look more human now

A quick texturing on the teeth and a tesome test of lighting to see how it react. Basically for the moment I have just have 2 different textures for the teeth, I was too lazy to unwrap them individually… maybe I will do, and the gum
are symmetric for the moment.

Take a look.

Love the hulk and teeth - great stuff !

Now that’s got me wondering if Banner has to replace his fillings every time he changes into the Hulk. Thanks a lot!

Man Big Guns. I always love seeing your work. You just add the right details to your models to make them come alive.

Thank you all

Ghostly Specter: Thank’s I appreciate  I’m glad you like it.

The next update will be the pant, but before I want to finish a still pose of my arnold project to close this wip. So the next update on hulk will be a little later but not so long

very nice, and might I say: those are the best digital teeth I have ever seen!! However, the pants should have more depth, and you should really take a chainsaw the the pant ripped edges

chwaga: thank’s man

The pants are just a sketch, I will do the true one soon, after I finish a still of my arnold schwarzenegger

Blady hell! Those teeth renders are incredible! Great job. Look forward to seeing Arnie!

Wow great work on both models you’re an inspiration for me to try harder.
How do you animate the muscles? Like the arnold flex pose?

…hulking !

Big Guns: Howd you do his hair? looks great.

hi all! Make so months I didn’t touch this wip, but I will finish it and put it on sell at www.ir-models.com for a cheap price.

So I decided to do a better rig, it stay a simple biped rig with strech bones but give good deformations with some skin morph added( his right side has just one skin morph for now, the left side has 2(for the shoulder I mean) so it’s why it deform a bit better in some positions), it’s done in max2009. it’s not finished yet, but want to show the progress, so first step here. Maybe I will add some displacement maps for contractions. By the way the fingers are not finished to skin, the skin wrap has modified those so I have to tweak them a bit.

here is a little render with a basic texture without hair.
