Insane!
Fantastic stuff!
Nattawat_OBBI - Thanks
yellehs-Thanks.
tobbeo- Thanks!
Wow…my first time checking out the new interface… I wish they wouldn’t have changed how images
are displayed. One of the reasons I loved the site so much is that it wasn’t so rigid, if someone posted
a big nice frame then you can view it as they intended.I understand that forums must be updated and such
but now they ALL are the same. Doesn’t matter if you are on a website to buy a car or an art website, u get
small rounded corners and gradient buttons and the option to view the image on another page surrounded by
white space…The new tools for the software look awesome though and I guess that’s all that counts…
Decided to slap some textures on Mr Incredible…
Very Cool!
Very dynamic scenes! -sculpt was real nice to begin with also . Very cool! .
love the incredible sculpt, but not a fan of the textured version. great work.
Loving the update Nice range
I agree, I definitely don’t like how it resizes the images. The rest of the design is ok to me, but the resizing of the images really bothers me. (Good work!)
Looks Like I spoke to soon about the image resizing…I was to quick on the draw on that one
They fixed it, yay! Now we can see your awesome work in its high resolution glory again without having to click on anything :).
Great work, your lines are really nice, i love the clean look to you Mr Incredible sculpt have you used the polish brushes here to achieve this?
George_Messinis- Thanks…glad you like the lines… as far as how I got his shapes I’d really have to post
some type of demo to really explain but here is how I achieve a polished look.
I work my proportions at the lowest sub-d level possible, only dividing when I run out of resolution
to properly form what I’m sculpting( maybe I’m working an arm and I’m at 200k…this might be enough to
get the general arm shape…but another sub-d level would be needed to achieve definition in the muscles).
While this is going on I use the smooth brush…and I mean ALOT…at different z intensities.
The reason I personally do this is because I used to sculpt in super sculpty and this is exactly how I worked
(except for jumping up and down in sub-d levels…once you baked the clay that was a wrap) anyway…
Don’t know how helpful that was but I’ll try and post some examples later…
Sketched this up for a contest over at Cg Hub…
Looking good bud!! All the best in the contest!
Trying out the new Dynamesh and it’s pretty awesome…Worked up this alien head
yesterday to try out some of the new features…Doing a couple experiments with
the mesh resolution when using multiple pieces…I’ll update with any settings I find
helpful.
I like the alien head … especially the little mechanical inserts here and there… were those alpha brushes or new mesh insert brushes used while dynameshing… they kinda look like alphas pulled from your cg hub image above… either way great work…
Loving the details placed into the organic forms . Very cool .
