Thanks for the kind response!!.. I have put the old lady to rest after a failed attempt at texturing her!! 
… Instead, I decided to continue with my old “Birth of Bheeshma” sculpture, whose earlier WIP images can be viewed at the following thread:

I have added the third character, the King, in this update and changed the poses on Ganga and the child. Still trying out variations on gesture and bodylanguage as I go along.
